1. General

Welcome to Makeyourcartoon website for Portrait sales. By using this website, you agree to follow and be bound by the terms of use outlined below. Makeyourcartoon reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Prices & Payment

All prices on www.makeyourcartoon.com include the applicable value-added tax (VAT) at the time of sale, in accordance with Swedish law. Prices do not include shipping fees, which may vary depending on the shipping method selected. Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions or offers unless explicitly stated.

For orders shipped outside the EU, additional import duties and taxes may apply upon delivery. These fees are your responsibility. We recommend contacting your local customs office for further information on potential import charges.

3. Shipping & Delivery

At Makeyourcartoon, we handle every order with great care and strive to deliver according to the shipping method you selected.

The processing time for creating your portrait item is typically 1–4 business days. The total delivery time from order to arrival may be up to 12 business days.

For printed products, please allow an additional 3–7 business days to complete the printing process. We will send a preview to the email provided with your order. Once approved, the printing process begins. The total delivery time for these items may be up to 12 business days.

We always aim to meet customer expectations and deliver high-quality products. In case of any delays, we will contact you via email. Your order will be produced and shipped from Sweden/US depending on where you order.


4. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

Under Swedish Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, notify us clearly within the 14-day window. Include your name, address, order number, invoice number, and the item(s) you'd like to return. You can either use our contact form, email us directly, or use the standard withdrawal form provided by the Swedish Consumer Agency.

Please note: Customized or personalized products are exempt from the right of withdrawal (Chapter 2, §11, point 3 of the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act).

If the returned item has been used or handled more than necessary, we reserve the right to deduct a value reduction fee based on the item's condition.

Refunds will be issued once the returned item is received, typically through the same payment method used at checkout.


5. Complaints & Damaged Goods

All products are inspected before shipment. However, if a product arrives damaged or incorrect, we will resolve the issue free of charge in accordance with Swedish consumer protection laws.

You always have the right to file a complaint within a reasonable time of discovering the issue, but no later than 3 years after purchase.

To report a complaint, please contact us via our contact form or email support@makeyourcartoon.com. We will cover the return shipping for all valid complaints.

If your product was damaged during transport, please contact us as soon as possible and keep the packaging until the matter is resolved.

Refunds for valid complaints will be issued within 30 days. Our goal is always for you to be fully satisfied with your purchase.

Steps to file a complaint:

  • Email support@makeyourcartoon.com with your name, address, email, order number, and a description of the issue.

  • If the issue can’t be resolved with a replacement or repair, you will receive a refund in accordance with consumer protection laws.

  • We cover all return shipping costs for approved complaints.


6. Refunds

Refunds for full or partial orders placed on broderingstudio.se are processed through Stripe Payments or Klarna. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please note it may take a few business days for the refund to appear.


7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved directly between us, it will be handled by the court with legal jurisdiction. You may also submit your case to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN):
