How long does it take?

Our team of talented cartoon illustrators work as fast as they can and we aim to get your hand-drawn personalized portrait done in 1-3 days.

How is the artwork sent?

Your custom cartoon portrait will be digital and we will email it to you as soon as it is completed. The file you will receive will be ready to print or share on social media. In case you decide to purchase a printed version on our store, we will attach your print order to the original one and will make sure your personalized artwork gets printed and shipped to the address provided.

What if I am unhappy with my cartoon portrait?

Our cartoon artists are amazingly talented and we strive to produce premium quality drawings. Sometimes working from a photo we miss the essence of the person and we are always ready to make revisions until you are 100% happy with your custom cartoon portrait.

However, it is the customer's responsibility to specify all details they would like included in their personalized portrait. Any details not included in the order notes will be assumed by our cartoon illustrator and might result in additional charges if changes are required.

Can you create a composition from more than one photo?

Absolutely yes. The more photos the better, just let us know in the description what details we should use from each photo and leave the rest up to us!

Do pets count as characters?

Creating a custom pet portrait requires the same amount of effort like drawing a human character. Therefore yes, pets count as characters.

Does it cost extra to include original cartoon characters?

Yes, each character included in the composition is counted separately.

Is my photo good enough to use?

Most likely, yes! As all of our art is hand-drawn from scratch, this means the quality of the reference photo is not as important. If there's an issue, we'll contact you via email to request more photos of your fur baby.

Do you use any apps/filters for the art?

No, we do not use any apps to speed up the process of our work, which, in return, sacrifices the quality of the finished product. At MakeYourCartoon we hand-draw each portrait with love, care, and attention, capturing your pet's personality in a style you have always loved.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we've shipped over 5,000 portraits all around the world.

How long does it take?

It typically takes us 2-3 days to send you an art preview and 5-7 days for your product to be delivered.(Please allow an additional few days during peak periods)

Is the final picture suitable for printing?

The short answer is absolutely yes! Digital images we deliver via email are high-quality files suitable for printing in any size less or equal to 32x24-inch.

How long do I have to approve my revision/image for a canvas order?

You will have 24 hours to approve of the final image or request revisions before we print your art piece on the canvas you ordered. Additional charges will apply for revision request after the 48 hour approval time frame, if your canvas was shipped we can provide a reprint of the approved revisioned artwork at a 40% discount

What is Shipping Insurance?

This is an additional option that is offered at an additional cost which varies between $2.99-$4.99.

What is covered:

Lost in Transit: Due to carrier delays we consider lost in transit after 12 business days of no tracking update on the Website.
Delivered, Not Received: This is in the ase your order shows it was; however, you did not receive it. (We ONLY approve this coverage after opening an investigation with the carrier and results in the carriers fault ex: delivered to the wrong address)
Damaged: Damages due to shipping handling
